Eerie Hitchcock Special!

I’m sure the Muscovies were just hungry.

And I’m sure the heavy sea mist just made things look eerier.

But walking out of my back door this morning was like walking onto the film set of The Birds…

Muscovy Ducks

Muscovy Ducks

Thankfully none of them dive bombed me, as I probably would have dropped my camera whilst running for my life ;)

Gotta love those ducks!

Love Muscovies…they look great! The Fox killed ours years ago and we never got them again.

Aw shame Bridget, I’ve lost a load of them that way too. But my gorgeous drake is still from my original bunch (preening himself in the second pic) and now they live on the island they are pretty much safe thankfully.
PS I’ve 3 ladies too many if you’re interested ;)

Thanks but no, we’ve since discovered we have Mink as well, much as I’d like too we’re not going to have ducks or chickens… for now anyway.

I understand, if however you change your mind – just let me know. I’ve generally always got too many ;o)

It certainly was a thick sea mist this morning. Love the ducks.
