Something Fishy…

Dragged Jon out of work early today so we could go fishing.

We came home with a haul of 33 fish (mostly Mackerel and a couple of Pollack & a Herring too) which have now been cleaned up and mostly handed out to friends and neighbours with a few to restock the freezer too.

It was a great day to be out on the water as it is also the weekend of Looe Powerboat Racing event. I think we got to see the OCR or Offshore Circuit Racing class, which involved about 20 boats going very, very fast! For more info…

Yummm (if I do say so myself!) Fresh roasted Mackerel with roast tomatoes, mushrooms & nettle.
