Sparrowhawk

I was chatting with a prospective client in my bestest ever telephone voice when this beautiful sparrowhawk decided to land and eat his(?) lunch right outside my window.

I was desperately trying to hang onto the phone and sound the exact right mix of professional & empathic whilst snapping him one handed… hence the jaunty angle! Not a great photo but a great sight for sure.
Thankfully Cuckoo the chick was in a covered run so I didnt have to worry about what was on his lunch time menu!
