Fishy business…

Jon has been fishing the past few days.

Our home is only a mile from a stunning rocky cove, and although he has spent many fishing trips on course lakes (still beyond me that one – whats the point of catching a fish and putting it back again…?!) sea fishing is all new to him.

Yesterday he came back with a fair sized pollack which I have filleted and will have for tea. Thats the saddest part – he’ll catch fish but not eat them himself. Although he did once eat a small clam (under duress) but the facial expressions that accompanied it let me know it was an experience he would never, ever be repeating..!

So pan fried pollack in butter and garlic is on tonights menu… Yum!
